The result includes illusions questioning conventional perception of reality, substitutions of material and technology, or various “stories” and pop-cultural phenomena. They bring provocations, surprises, humour and irony but particularly creativity. They bring back to life handcraft techniques and evaluate the possibilities of digital technologies. They document both the playfulness and the engagement of design in cultural, social and environmental areas. In this aspect, design is seen as a tool presenting artist´s individual interpretation and reflecting broader societal and social topics. The emphasis is put on invention, creativity, experiment, and critical thinking.
